Easter Tarr Farmhouse is situated in beautiful countryside just 12 miles to the west of the ancient capital of Scotland, Stirling. We are 3 miles from Scotlands first National Park which encompasses the Trossachs and Loch Lomond areas.Stirling has excellent shopping centres and entertainment. We are 40 mins from Glasgow, 25mins from Loch Lomond,45 mins from Edinburgh ,50 mins from Perth and just 15min from Stirling.

"The Tarr", as our house is nicknamed locally, was built in 1825 and we are only the third family to live here in over a hundred years. "The Tarr" stands two miles west of the village of Thornhill, which has celebrated its 300th anniversary and is located in a popular destination for tourists from all over the world. Many of our guests take their evening meals in one of the hotels or restaurants in Thornhill or in Callander, which is also not far away.
